From July 2025 through January 2026, the Codespaces community kept momentum high—digging into day-to-day productivity, refining devcontainer setups, and troubleshooting real-world environment issues.

This check-in recaps notable community contributions and the themes that surfaced most often during the second half of 2025.

Shout-out to community members who helped move conversations forward with clear reproduction steps, pragmatic advice, and thoughtful follow-ups:

🧠 Tip of the Month: make your issue reproducible

The fastest way to get help and help others help you is to share a minimal, reproducible setup:

• Include your devcontainer.json (or a pared-down version)
• Add exact error text + logs (build logs are especially useful)
• State what changed most recently (image update, dependency bump, new feature, etc.)

A small, well-scoped repro often gets a better answer than a long description.
