How to fully disable CodeQL?

I enabled CodeQL at some point for evaluation and we decided not to use it. So I've disabled it in the options, at least I think I did but it still shows this error message at the top of this page:

Any idea how to completely disable it and remove this message?

I still haven't found a solution. It still displays this message with apparently no way to get rid of it. Any idea what can be done?

I think you might have to manually delete all information about your previous code scanning configurations. You can read the docs about that here.

Yes thank you, that was it!

I was able to disable it only by going here: https://github.com/<user>/<repo>/settings/security_analysis, in the "Code scanning > Tools > CodeQL analysis" section. Deleting the code scanning configurations did not worked, it kept trigering the actions on every commit.
